چکیده
We address the question of transport heat, in out-of-equilibrium systems. The experimental set-up consists two coupled granular gas Non-Equilibrium Steady State (NESS) heat baths, which Brownian-like rotors are imbedded. These electro-mechanically thanks to DC micro-motors, through a resistor $R$, such that energy flows between them. average flux depends linearly difference baths' temperature. Varying $R$ allows extrapolate non-dissipative coupling limit ($R\rightarrow0$). show that, this limit, obeys Fluctuation Theorem, form proposed by Jarzynski and W\'ojcik $2004$ for fluctuations finite size equilibrium baths.

Two-dimensional nonlinear nonequilibrium kinetic theory under steady heat conduction.
The two-dimensional steady-state Boltzmann equation for hard-disk molecules in the presence of a temperature gradient has been solved explicitly to second order in density and the temperature gradient. The two-dimensional equation of state and some physical quantities are calculated from it and compared with those for the two-dimensional steady-state Bhatnagar-Gross-Krook equation and informati...
متن کاملOptimal Pareto Parametric Analysis of Two Dimensional Steady-State Heat Conduction Problems by MLPG Method
Numerical solutions obtained by the Meshless Local Petrov-Galerkin (MLPG) method are presented for two dimensional steady-state heat conduction problems. The MLPG method is a truly meshless approach, and neither the nodal connectivity nor the background mesh is required for solving the initial-boundary-value problem. The penalty method is adopted to efficiently enforce the essential boundary co...

15 صفحه اولQuantifying the Heat Dissipation from a Molecular Motor's Transport Properties in Nonequilibrium Steady States.
Theoretical analysis, which maps single-molecule time trajectories of a molecular motor onto unicyclic Markov processes, allows us to evaluate the heat dissipated from the motor and to elucidate its dependence on the mean velocity and diffusivity. Unlike passive Brownian particles in equilibrium, the velocity and diffusion constant of molecular motors are closely inter-related. In particular, o...
متن کاملExistence of Nonequilibrium Steady State for a Simple Model of Heat Conduction
This paper contains rigorous results for a simple stochastic model of heat conduction similar to the KMP (Knipnis–Marchiori–Presutti) model but with possibly energydependent interaction rates. We prove the existence and uniqueness of nonequilibrium steady states, their relation to Lebesgue measure, and exponential convergence to steady states from suitable initial conditions.
